Rumors are swirling that the Mets are prepared to include Fernando Martinez and Ryan Church in a deal to land pitcher Johan Santana. Such a deal would not include Carlos Gomez, but Mike Pelfrey and a couple of other prospects would probably be tossed in, with the assumption that Deolis Guerra would be one of those prospects.
